Thursday June 6, 2024 The Royal British Legion will hold a  French and British ceremony at the Normandy Memorial

Thursday June 6, 2024: remembrance ceremony organized by the municipality at 2:30 p.m. at Place Winston Churchill at the monuments of the 5th Battalion The East Yorkshire Regiment and the 4th/7th Royal Dragoon Guards. Presence of elected officials from the municipality, representatives of the America & Gold Beach museum association and children from Ver-sur-Mer schools

Saturday June 8, 2024: remembrance ceremony organized by the America & Gold Beach museum association and by the association of veterans of the British Green Howards regiment, in the presence of elected officials at 10:00 a.m. at the monument of the 6th and 7th Battalion The Green Howards, at Paisty Vert, access via the route of the 50th British Infantry Division, coming from Asnelles, at the first traffic lights on the left. Arrive 15 minutes before the start of the ceremony.

 Crepon Saturday June 8, 2024: Remembrance ceremony organized by the municipality of Crépon and by the association of veterans of the British Green Howards regiment, in the presence of elected officials at the Green Howards war memorial at 5:30 p.m. Arrive 15 minutes before the start of the ceremony.

On June 6, 2021 at 4 p.m. despite the difficulties associated with the pandemic, we were able to gather in front of the memorials of the 4 / 7th Royal Dragoon Guards and the 5th Batallion The East Yorkshire Regiment during a ceremony organized by the municipality of Ver-sur-Mer. Our association was represented by its president J-F Le Cuziat, its vice-president Jean Chanal and assistant secretary Marie-Christine Delhinger. J-F Le Cuziat and Jean Chanal laid a wreath in the name of the association on the two memorials
